CHURCH communities IN the Mountains

There are a series of 3 churches located just north of Santiago in the mountain communities of Ranchito, Piche, & La Escalera. They are led by Pastor José Miguel Peña along with the support of Pastor Juan and other leaders. Pastor José began his pastoral ministry in June 1988 in the community of La Escalera, Altamira, in the province of Puerto Plata RD. For several years now, Pastor José has provided leadership in the mountain communities and has raised up leaders with each newly planted church. They meet on Tuesday nights for a prayer service, Wednesday nights for Bible study, and both Friday and Saturday nights for evangelistic worship.
