The Riemer Family

It all started when…

Dan first came to the Dominican Republic in 2004 on a college mission trip. It was during this experience that Dan felt God calling him to a life-long ministry partnership with people in the DR. Dan and his wife (Holly) both graduated from Judson University and got married in 2005. They spent the next 10+ years serving the local church in student ministry and growing their family. In 2015 the Lord opened the door for Dan and Holly to move into mission work full-time, and in January 2016, the Riemers moved to serve in the Dominican Republic as missionaries. When they returned to the United States in 2018, they left the island physically, but the desire to remain connected to people and ministry in the Dominican Republic remained strong.

Dan began his involvement with Mission Zoom back in 2018 and as the ministry has grown, so has his desire to be more involved. In early 2024, after many months of prayer and counsel from godly leaders, Dan and Holly made the decision to join the Mission Zoom staff full-time. Dan’s primary role will be to help grow and strengthen Mission Zoom’s partnerships, both with Dominican pastors and leaders and with North American individuals and churches. Our collective goal is to help Dominicans know Jesus and be discipled to follow Him daily.

If you feel called to be a part of Dan & Holly’s prayer or support team, they would be honored by that decision. You can reach Dan via email at dan.riemer@missionzoom.org. If you would like to invest financially in their ministry efforts, you can begin that process by clicking the donation button below. Any donation is a blessing. Our monthly goal of $9,000 helps support our family, but we are also working to fundraise a significant portion for ministry initiatives and needs. We want to continually sow into our partner ministries on the ground in the Dominican Republic. If you feel led to partner financially, it would bless our family and bless the ministry of the many we serve with! If you’d like to know more about how you can give to other specific needs that the ministry has, please contact Royce Bishop.
